Zoltan is a raven belonging to Farmer Brown.
He has a vocabulary limited to a few phrases, including:
- "Screw you and the horse you rode in on"
- "Beans, beans, the musical fruit; the more you eat the more you toot"

He is able to speak and utters mainly profanities and wisecracks even though Brown once tried to teach him the Lord's Prayer. He ate the eyes of Roland Deschain's mule that died.
