Song of Susannah is the 49th book published by Stephen King; it was his 41st novel, and the 35th under his own name. The book was released by Grant on 8 June 2004, and is the sixth and penultimate volume of the Dark Tower series.

SummaryEdit

Following Roland Deschain's journey through Calla Bryn Sturgis and victory over the Wolves, his ka-tet becomes divided and cast throughout to various times and places of the multiverse. Susannah, possessed by Mia, arrives in New York City of 1999 where Mia intends to give birth to Roland and Susannah's offspring, while Jake, Oy, and Father Callahan rush to rescue her; Roland and Eddie arrive in Maine of 1977 where they must rescue Calvin Tower in order to protect the Rose, before visiting Stephen King and convincing him to take up a quest the writer had abandoned.
