Dr. Ronald Haskell (d. 22 Oct 2012) was a surgeon at Catherine Russell Hospital in Chester's Mill, Maine, assisted by Rusty Everett. He treated Jim Rennie, Jr. for headaches, misdiagnosing him with migraines and prescribing Imitrex.
On 21 October 2009, he operated on Rory Dinsmore, who had been blinded by the fragments of a bullet when he tried to shoot through the Dome that had mysteriously appeared the day before. Dinsmore died on the table, and Haskell suffered a myocardial infarction in the hallway outside the operating room due to the heat in the OR.
He died at 5:49pm, thirty-four minutes after his final patient.
