Hillman Brown is a character in The Tommyknockers and a resident of Haven. Hillman, also known as "Hilly", had an interest in magic after his grandfather bought him a magic kit. He would later build a device that could make objects disappear and then reappear. He used this device on David Brown, his brother, who then disappeared. Hilly couldn't bring David back and went into a state of shock. He was checked into Derry Hospital where he stayed for weeks. Jim Gardener would later save David and teleport him to Hilly's room.
