Franklin D’Cruz is a registered sex offender and a minor character in the horror novel, It. Along with Henry Bowers, Benny Beaulieu and Jimmy Donlin, he is a mentally ill patient who is currently serving time at Juniper Hill (a newly-established asylum that was located in the city of Augusta). Franklin was held accountable for the rape and molestation of well over fifty women (ranging from toddlers to elders).
Although never directly revealed or hinted throughout the novel, it is speculated that he was likely transferred to the mental hospital sometime during the late seventies.
