Frank Faraday was a back-up catcher for the New Jersey Titans until 1957.

Faraday replaced the Titans' regular catcher Johnny Goodkind near the end of Spring Training in 1957 when Goodkind was arrested. He played the Titans' final match of the preseason against the Cincinnati Redlegs, in which he was seriously injured by Ted Kluszewski in a brutal play-at-the-plate, suffering a broken leg, a broken arm, and a concussion that ended his career.

He was replaced by minor league call-up William Blakely.
